Deleting your data
How to disconnect Instagram from an Officeverse office, what is stored where, and how to have it deleted. The Privacy Policy describes everything Officeverse processes; this page is the short, practical version.
Last updated: 22 October 2026
1. Instagram
An Officeverse office can be connected to your business Instagram account so that your agents can publish posts and answer comments, with your approval. You can end that at any time, in either place:
- In your office. Settings → Integrations → Instagram → Disconnect. The sign-in is deleted from your office and nothing can be published or read any more.
- In Instagram. Instagram app → Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites, and remove Officeverse. Instagram then tells us, and the sign-in in your office stops working at once.
Posts and comments that are already on Instagram belong to your Instagram account and are not touched by either step. Delete them in Instagram if you want them gone.
2. What Officeverse holds about a connected account
-
In your own office (the one at
https://<your-office>.officeverse.id): the Instagram sign-in itself, the account name, the comments it read, and the posts and replies your agents drafted. Disconnecting deletes the sign-in; deleting the office deletes everything else with it. - Centrally: nothing about your Instagram account. The sign-in is passed to your office at the moment you connect and is not stored anywhere else, so there is no central copy to delete.
If you arrived here from Instagram's confirmation of a deletion request, the code in the address of this page shows that we received it. Because nothing about the account is kept centrally, there is nothing more for us to delete there.
3. Deleting data inside your office
Inside the office you can, as owner or admin:
- clear an agent's chat, which deletes its messages and the attachments no other message uses;
- delete artifacts, including the Instagram posts your agents drafted;
- remove a person, which removes that person's account, email address and sessions;
- disconnect any integration, which deletes its sign-in.
Section 8 of the Privacy Policy lists how long each kind of data is kept.
The owner of the office can also, under Settings → Your data:
- Download all your data as one zip. Passwords, sign-in sessions, keys and access tokens are left out.
- Delete the office. Enter your email and type the office address to confirm. We email you when the request is recorded and again when it is done. The office is deleted 7 days after the request, and you can choose Cancel deletion on the same page until then. It removes the office and everything stored in it, and it cannot be undone once it has happened.
4. Asking us to delete your data
For the office itself, use the page above. For anything else, or if you cannot use the page, write to
support@officeverse.id from the email address you signed up with, and say what you
want deleted: a connected account, your whole office (give its name, the part before .officeverse.id), your
waitlist and billing records, or the nightly backup copies of an office you have deleted. If you want a copy of your data first,
say so. If Meta gave you a confirmation code for a deletion request, put it in the message. A person handles every request. We
answer within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep something (billing records, for
example).
5. What happens next
- A whole office. Its programs and all of its stored data are deleted: its database, files, agent memory, conversations and workspace. That cannot be undone.
- Backups. Every night an encrypted copy of each office is kept on our second server, the newest 7 nights. They are not removed by the page: reply to either of the two emails, or write to us, and we remove the copies of a deleted office by hand.
- Waitlist and billing records. The waitlist entry is deleted. Payment records are kept only as long as the law requires. A trial is free, so a trial office has no payment record until its first payment.
- Other apps. What an app you connected already holds (Telegram, WhatsApp, Notion, your mail provider) is under that app's own rules; remove it there too if you want it gone.
